The patent service

Our patent attorneys offer specialized services to help individuals and businesses protect their technical inventions and understand IP rights wherever in the world. A patent is a legal right granted by a government that gives the patent holder exclusive rights to make, use, sell or distribute an invention for a maximum term of 20 years from the filing date, except for medicine in specific conditions (where the period may be longer). In exchange, the inventor must be willing to publicly disclose details of the invention. A key requirement for patentability is novelty, meaning that the invention must be new and not been disclosed before the filing date. Furthermore, for an invention to be patentable, it must imply an inventive step and be industrially applicable.
