03 Mar Ipsilon group is joining forces with Lecomte & Partners, with the support of Waterland, to strengthen its position as European leader in intellectual property
Lecomte & Partners, an intellectual property firm based in Luxembourg, joins the Ipsilon group, a major player in intellectual property. This merger comes in the wake of the acquisition of Nony in February and confirms Ipsilon in its position as a pan-European leader.
With this merger, the Ipsilon group strengthens its geographical coverage in Benelux and expands its expertise in this region.
“In addition to confirming our solid service offer in trademarks and designs in the Benelux, this operation allows us to consolidate our patent activity in this region and gives the Ipsilon group a QPIP (Qualified Patent Information Process) certification, completing our range of integrated services to serve our customers even better”, explains Valérie Feray, President of Ipsilon.
“We are delighted to contribute to the emergence of a European leader, and to help broaden the spectrum through our international clients in the high-tech sectors”, rejoices Didier Lecomte, President of Lecomte & Partners.
“This second stage of external growth, and first internationally, is part of our strategy to support Ipsilon in the creation of a pan-European leader in intellectual property consulting, based on excellence, proximity and complementarity”, explain Louis Huetz, President of Waterland in France and Pierre Naftalski, Investment Director at Waterland.
